All petitions for nomination to the CWA Local 1123 Executive Board have been returned and have been presented to the Election Committee.

After examination of the petitions by the committee, it has been determined that the office of DVP of the FSC is unopposed and there will be an election for the office of Secretary / Treasurer.
As per our local bylaws, there will not be an election for any office or elected position in the Local Union that is unopposed. Article XIV, Section 2 – Elections, par G. states:
Whenever there is an unopposed candidate duly nominated for any office
or elected position in the Local Union, the chair of the Election Committee
shall cast one vote for the nominee and that candidate shall be considered
elected without the necessity of an election.
Please see the attached Tentative Certification of Results for the DVP of the FSC position.
There will be an election by mail-in ballot for the Secretary / Treasurer position of Local 1123. The candidates for this position are DVP Bob Bronner and DVP Jason White.
Ballots for the position of Secretary / Treasurer will be mailed out on May 29th, 2018 and must be in the designated P.O. Box by 8:30am on June 12th, 2018. Ballots will be counted that same day at 9:00am.
Ballots will be sent in the mail Tuesday, May 29th, 2018.
If you have not received a ballot in the mail by June 4th, we must hear from you ASAP – Please call the union office at 315-476-1123 to make sure they have your correct address and we will get one out to you.
Absentee Ballots - Everyone should be receiving a ballot in the mail no later than June 4th – If you know you will not be at your home address from 5/29 thru 6/12, please call and we will arrange to mail a ballot to your temporary location. Please allow plenty of time to get it to the designated P.O. Box by 6/12.
